The Time Machine, H. G. Wells | Editorial Project

What might humanity look like millions of years from now? What does the distant future hold, and how will the face of the Earth change? Herbert Wells asked these questions in the 19th century, and I have reimagined them in my editorial project.

In „The Time Machine“ by H.G. Wells, one can explore the distant future, encounter the delicate Eloi, and uncover the mysteries of the Morlocks. Through vivid storytelling, Wells prompts reflections on societal progress and its profound impacts. This classic tale continues to offer insights and provoke thought, remaining as relevant today as it was when first published.

I was fascinated by the text and decided to create abstract and surreal chapter illustrations. They consist mostly of primitive objects to maintain an idea of abstraction, but the materials and the environment were created with the help of simulations and holographic glass textures.
